Amirah Begum
Scientific researcher
I am a biomedical scientist and social entrepreneur dedicated to bridging healthcare and sustainability. With a strong research background, including published work with institutions like KCL and Cambridge, I am passionate about addressing global health disparities and their intersection with environmental sustainability. As the founder of The Copper Foundation, I have designed community programs supporting maternal health, particularly among marginalized groups, integrating nature-based solutions to improve well-being. Through Newah_Tuition, I advocate for equitable education, ensuring disadvantaged and neurodivergent children have access to quality learning opportunities. I am particularly interested in sustainable healthcare solutions that minimize environmental impact while improving patient outcomes. I believe that human health is deeply connected to the health of our planet, and I am eager to explore innovative ways to integrate ocean literacy and conservation into global health strategies.
