Andrea Maltchik Zamora

My name is Andrea Maltchik Zamora and I am an oceanographer graduated at Federal University of Rio Grande (FURG / Brazil) and current master's student in Ocean and Earth Dynamics at Federal Fluminense University (UFF - Niterói / Rio de Janeiro), through a project related to marine pollution, solid waste and ecology of sandy beaches. I am also co-founder at Instituto Geração Oceano X (GOX),a Non-Profit Organization, with creative, transdisciplinary and innovative proposals to accelerate solutions for the Ocean. I am also part of the technical team for the construction of the UNESCO Chair for the sustainability of the Ocean. Recently, I became a climate leader trained by the Youth Climate Leaders.
