Florina Beqiri, born on April 24, 2002, is a passionate educator, youth activist, and community leader from Kosovo. She is currently a fourth-year Primary Education student at the University of Mitrovica Isa Boletini, where she is pursuing her academic studies while actively engaging in projects that focus on youth empowerment, sustainability, and community development. Throughout her academic journey, Florina participated in an Erasmus exchange program in Linz, Austria, where she gained valuable insights into modern teaching methodologies and intercultural education. Her experiences have shaped her commitment to fostering inclusive, forward-thinking educational environments that empower young people, particularly in rural areas. Florina has contributed to numerous initiatives, including Community Building Mitrovica, where she worked on fostering unity and collaboration among youth from diverse backgrounds. Additionally, she has served as a board member of the Pen Educators Network and participated in programs aimed at promoting AI literacy, transparency, and women’s leadership. Her work with organizations like NDI Kosovo, GIZ, and KDI Kosovo has further solidified her role as a dedicated advocate for youth and women. Florina is passionate about integrating innovative learning methods into her work and believes in the power of education as a tool for social change. Through her advocacy and activism, she continues to inspire those around her, striving to create a positive impact in both her community and beyond.
