Iwona Gin

Iwona Gin is Head of European Projects at Nausicaa, National Sea Experience Centre in France. She holds Master’s degrees in Business Management and Administration, International Relations, Intercultural Cooperation and Applied Linguistics. She has developed and managed marine science communication projects funded by the European Commission (Horizon 2020, Interreg, EMFF), as well as partnerships, conferences and expert group meetings, including the Youth4Ocean Forum, the Aqua-Lit, Marina, Sea for Society and ACCENT participatory workshops, Choose the Right Fish campaign, Ocean Info Pack, World Ocean Network, and the Blue Planet Forum and international «Acting Together for the Future of the Blue Planet » meetings. Her expertise is mainly in stakeholder engagement and general public empowerment to inspire a behavioral change for sustainable management of the oceans and seas.
