Member since 12 Mar 2025

My name is MuhamadZakir Aliev, and I am a third-year student at the University of Journalism and Mass Communications in Tashkent, Uzbekistan, specializing in International Journalism. I have a strong interest in international relations, diplomacy, and environmental issues, particularly in how journalism can serve as a tool for raising awareness and fostering global cooperation. I have actively participated in a project dedicated to the preservation of the Aral Sea, which provided me with valuable experience in engaging with experts and understanding the environmental challenges in my region. Currently, I work in the Sales & Marketing Department at Wyndham Tashkent, where I develop my professional skills in communication, marketing, and international collaboration. Additionally, I work as a freelance editor, proofreading and refining articles for popular Telegram channels, including "Sputnik Tajikistan" and "Sputnik Uzbekistan" This experience has enhanced my ability to analyze and structure information effectively. For me, journalism is more than just a profession—it is a powerful means to highlight global environmental challenges and the importance of international cooperation. The EU4Ocean Summer School in Venice presents an excellent opportunity to deepen my understanding of marine ecosystems, collaborate with like-minded individuals, and contribute to raising awareness of ocean-related issues
