Sara Tortora
Marine biologist
Since childhood, I've been captivated by the natural world, constantly curious about the names and characteristics of animals and plants that surrounded me. As I grew older, my passion for understanding nature only intensified, leading me to pursue a degree in Natural Sciences. This multidisciplinary field provided me with a comprehensive understanding of the natural world, allowing me to understand that what I really wanted to study was the sea. I started diving in 2018 and am now a PADI certified Divemaster. I am currently at the end of my Master's program in Marine Biology and Ecology. My field of interest involves topics of ecology, evolution and conservation biology employing molecular approaches to investigate population-/species-level patterns of diversity for conservation practices.
