I am a passionate technologist and educator with experience in software development, data science, and quantum computing. I have expertise in dealing with big data processing and developing scalable, open-source applications in Python and React. I have also carried out research in quantum algorithms for advanced simulations, especially in environmental system modeling. One of my recent projects was applying quantum computing to speed up large-scale ocean simulations so that climate models and marine ecosystem forecasts would improve. With the help of quantum-boosted algorithms, I was hoping to improve the accuracy of ocean current predictions, which is important in terms of climate change impacts. Beyond my technical interests, I am most passionate about education and interdisciplinarity. I like to conduct lively demonstrations making intricate ideas accessible so that pioneering technologies are better understood. I look forward to the EU4Ocean Summer School learning innovative uses of emerging technologies in ocean science, developing ocean sustainability projects, and working together with other people who share the same vision of advancing effective solutions.
