Pierre Rossini Jacques

I was born in Haiti to teacher parents. After completing my maritime education at Venezuela's Universidad Maritima del Caribe as a maritime engineer and watchkeeping mate, I have sailed in the Persian Gulf, Latin America, the Caribbean and the North American Great Lakes. Based in Montreal since 2012, I hold a Masters in maritime Management (MMM) from Memorial University of Newfoundland and I am a Member of the Institute of Chartered Shipbrokers (M.I.C.S) from which I also hold an Advanced Diploma in Dry Cargo Chartering. In the Spring 2022, I have co-founded the Haiti Maritime Foundation, of which purpose is to promote sustainable maritime development in the Republic of Haiti, through maritime education, business facilitation, and environmental protection.
