Description
Jacopo Gennari Feslikenian (Milan, 1986) is a Photographer and Urbanist, currently based between Rotterdam (NL), Milan (IT) and Lisbon (PT). He studied Architecture and Urbanism in Politecnico of Milan (IT), DA/UAL in Lisbon and FAUP in Porto (PT). He hold an M.Arch degree Cum Laude from FAUP (University of Porto). Since young age he start working as an assistant photographer and practicing photography as a tool of discovery and exploration. His work focus on Maritime, Architectural and Documentary photography. He has a deep understanding and sensitivity towards research on territories, architectural spaces and the maritime world. In-fact amongst his main interest and passion lies the maritime and offshore environment and the multiple levels of interactions between humans, biodiversity and territory that take place in the Sea. Jacopo is also the director of Openfabric, landscape architecture and urbanism practice based in Rotterdam (NL) and Milan (IT) that works internationally on a vast range of projects, from small scale public space design to the development of masterplans and territorial strategies and visions. At Openfabric it leads teams on several international projects and winning proposals for competitions in Peru, Georgia, China, Russia, Italy, The Netherlands, KSA, UAE, Spain, Georgia, Belgium, Andorra, Luxembourg, Albania. He has proven skills in cartographic analysis and developing graphical tools able to unveil the complexity of territorial dynamics. He speak fluently Italian, Portuguese, English, Spanish and has basic knowledge French. He is open for collaborations in multidisciplinary teams studying and researching on maritime related topics (Marine conservation, Maritime Industry, Migrations, Fishing, Aquaculture, Extraction, Shipping, Offshore wind industry, Ports).
