At BRIDGES, we believe that ocean literacy is key to building resilient coastal communities. Our ocean literacy activities aim to educate, inspire, and empower young people, teachers, and national stakeholders to understand and care for the ocean that sustains us all, while preparing the stages to amplify local stakeholder voices.
From interactive workshops and beach clean-ups to school outreach, youth-led campaigns, and creative arts based learning, our programs promote a deep connection with the ocean environment. Through locally grounded, hands on experiences, we bridge the gap between science, traditional knowledge, and community daily actions.
At BRIDGES, we are nurturing and sourcing potentials of the next generation of ocean enthusiasts, especially in underrepresented coastal areas.
