Alberto Forte

Dr Alberto Forte is a Tourism Geography scholar holding an Adjunct Professorship at the School of Economics and a Research Fellowship at the Department of Quality of Life Sciences both within the University of Bologna (IT). His experience spans a combination of academic research and field-based work predominantly on aspects of tourism management and development specifically related to systems of government and governance challenges within a view over Sustainable Tourism Development in the context of both MDCs and LDCs. Dr Forte is currently working on a research project concerning the revaluation of the open sea, including the yachting tourism sector, in relation to urban regeneration initiatives in the context of second-generation coastal resorts.
