Francesca Mazza

I am Francesca, an Italian Architect with a Master degree in Landscape Architecture from TU Delft University (NL). My main interests are Ecology, Sustainability and Preservation of Biodiversity of the Ocean, via Design. Through my career, I have been working on different projects ranging from private residential to urban/landscape master planning. The more I learn about rapid urbanization and its consequences such as deforestation, climate change, water scarcity and loss of biodiversity, the more I want to become a designer that can find long-term sustainable solutions via spatial design at any scale. Due to the climate change and rising sea levels, it is necessary to protect people without compromising the Marine ecosystems. Resilient, smart solutions can be useful and effective if well planned.
