Passionate about ocean conservation and advancing sustainable development, Victoria Alis is a Franco-Seychelloise working as an environmental and sustainability consultant for Non-Governmental Organizations (NGOs) and private/public sector bodies in Seychelles. After obtaining her bachelor’s degree in Marine Biological Science and working as a field research officer on the UNESCO World Heritage site, Aldabra, she has had the chance to lead and get involved in various NGO-led projects. This includes science-to-policy research, community outreach & education, as well as capacity building projects focused on marine plastic pollution, waste management, sustainable tourism, and climate adaptation.
